Coordinator Nodes System-level Caching

Each coordinator stores a cache of system options, which are the same as a single coordinator configuration. You can modify the system options on any coordinator node, and the change reflects on other coordinators. Each coordinator fetches system options every 60 seconds through a background task, which covers a scenario where the system option cache becomes inconsistent among coordinators. Such scenarios include:

• Network issues such as dropped notifications.
• Rapid change in system options across multiple coordinators. Dremio does not recommend changing system options frequently.
