AI Integration

Dremio is designed to work natively with AI agents and LLMs. All integrations enforce Dremio's existing access controls, so AI tools operate with the same permissions as the authenticated user.

  • MCP Server – Connects conversational AI clients like Claude and ChatGPT to Dremio using the Model Context Protocol. Query data, inspect schemas, and run SQL through natural conversation. Supports OAuth and personal access token (PAT) authentication.

  • CLI – A command-line tool for running SQL queries, browsing the catalog, managing Reflections, monitoring jobs, and automating workflows from the terminal or any pipeline. Authenticates with a PAT.
