Identity Providers
Identity providers (IdP) are services that store and manage digital identities. An IdP authenticates users via username-password combinations and other credentials, as typically used for cloud computing and managing user identities. The following IdPs are supported with Dremio Cloud and can be configured for delegated authentication of external users.

Viewing an IdP
To view an IdP configured for Dremio Cloud, perform the following steps:
-
Click the Settings (gear) icon at the bottom-left corner of the screen and then click Organization Settings.
-
Select the Authentication tab from the left sidebar. Social IdPs are listed under the Standard header and enterprise IdPs under Enterprise.
Removing an IdP
You can only remove an enterprise IdPs. Social IdPs may not be removed as they are preconfigured with Dremio Cloud.
To remove an enterprise IdP:
-
Click the Settings (gear) icon at the bottom-left corner of the screen and then click Organization Settings.
-
Select the Authentication tab from the left sidebar. Social IdPs are listed under the Standard header and enterprise IdPs under Enterprise.
-
Click the Delete button (trashcan) under the Actions column of the enterprise IdP section.
Removing an activated enterprise IdP removes it as a login option for all users within your organization. You must manually reconfigure the IdP if you want to use it again as a login option.
- Confirm that you want to remove the IdP. The IdP is then deleted, along with any associated settings.
