Troubleshooting AWSE

This article discusses solutions to problems faced when using AWSE with Dremio.

Upgrading to 18.1.0

Problem: After upgrading to Dremio v18.1.0, when I access a PDS or VDS for my S3 source I receive the error: The preview engine is not online.

Solution: This issue is caused by a coincidence between a Zookeeper and Dremio port. To resolve this, first restart Zookeeper, and then restart the Dremio service.
